Birla Mandir Jaipur is also called as “Laxmi Narayan Mandir”. The construction of the temple began in 1988 by the B.M. Birla Foundation. It is been observed and said that the construction of the temple never ends. The land for the construction of the Mandir was given by the Maharaja of Jaipur for a token amount of Rs. 1 only.

The architecture of the temple is a mix of ancient Hindu architectural style and modern design. The temple walls are adorned with intricate carvings of deities and knowledge-filled words from the Puranas and Upanishads. Another noteworthy feature in the temple is the statue of Lakshmi Narayan carved from a single piece of stone and adorned with magnificent jewelry and garments. Apart from these statues, the temple also houses a statue of Ganesha that appears transparent.

The temple is also famous for its intricate carvings and delicate gold leafwork. The three grand domes in the temple represent the three different religions. The beautiful temple is located at the foothills of Moti Dungri. It is 1.2 km from the Narayan Singh Circle. The Railway Station is just 5.3 km from the temple. You will also find a cab and taxi from the station which will straight away drop you at the temple gate. The Sanganer International Airport is 8.4 km from the temple. You can also book a cab and taxi from the site. If you have to reach by road transport, there are several luxury and deluxe buses.

If you are planning to visit the temple, consider during Janmashtami. During this time, the temple hosts several religious activities. A large number of people visit the temple during this time to seek the blessings of Lord Krishna.
