Maharana Pratap Airport in Rajasthan

Another important airport in Rajasthan is the Maharana Pratap Airport in the city of Dabok, also known as Udaipur Airport, which is 25 km far from Udaipur City. This airport serves as a secondary hub for the state and is well-connected to major destinations across India. Jaipur International Airport

Jaipur International Airport is another major airport located in the state of Rajasthan which is 10 km far from Jaipur city. The airport serves as the gateway to the pink city Jaipur, which is a major tourist destination known for its rich cultural heritage and history. Jaipur Airport  is a hub for Supreme Airlines and Alliance Air and a focus city for SpiceJet. This airport has been selected to International airport in 29 December 2005. The airport has a large terminal building and is well-connected to major destinations across India. The airport has an incoming and outgoing duty-free shop along the departure trail. This airport has various facilities like hotel booking, cab booking & restaurants. Jaipur International Airport has been declared as the ‘World’s Best Airport’ in the category of 2 to 5 million passengers per annum for 2015 & 2016 by Airports Council International.

Jodhpur Airport

The Jodhpur Airport is also another airport located in Rajasthan, which is 5 km far from Jodhpur city. Jodhpur Airport is domestic airport, and its operate by the Airport Authority of India. It serves as a major airport for the city of Jodhpur and connects it to major destinations across India. The airport has a modern terminal building and offers a range of facilities for the convenience of passengers like restaurants ,cab booking etc. The Jodhpur flying club established in 1920 near Ummaid Bhawan palace in Jodhpur by Maharaja Ummaid Singh ruler of Jodhpur state. Jodhpur runway is oriented 05/23, is 2743 meters long and 45 Meters wide. Jodhpur airport airfield is equipped with the night landing facilities and an Instrument Landing System as well as navigational facilities like DVOR/DME and an NDB.

Kota Airport

The Kota Airport is also another airport located in Rajasthan, it serves as an important airport for the city of Kota, The Kota Airport spread over 152 acre, Kota Airport was reality built by the Royal family of Kota and was taken over by the government in 1951. This Airport Also Known As a Rajputana Airport. Since 1997, there have been none flights schedule from Kota airport. Services provided by Indian airline Dakota aircraft and later Vayudoot and Jagson airlines. Major industries are shutdown and Kota railway junction resulted in decreased demand airport in Kota.

Jaisalmer Airport

Jaisalmer Airport is 17 km far from city. At present it operates from IAF . This airport operates as a civil enclave on an Indian Airforce Base. Airport has single runway of 9,000 feet (2,700 m) in length and 150 feet (46 m) in width. The airport include Vayudoot  and Kingfisher Airlines. In year 2015 .This airport was closed, until services resumed under the UDAN scheme in 2017. The Airport Authority of India has constructed a new passengers terminal at the the southern end of the airfield.
Construction worth 80 crore it completed in March 2013. The Civil enclave is spread over 65 acres and include consist of the terminal and parking of three airbus a 321 aircraft.

Bikaner Airport

Bikaner Airport is 13 km far from city and it is city enclave of IAF. Bikaner Air Force Station and Civil Airport Bikaner is a domestic airport, and an Indian Air Force Station, which serves the city of Bikaner in Rajasthan. This is operated by the Airports Authority of India and regular scheduled flights under the UDAN scheme was inaugurated in 2017. By year 1964, the recreation Indian Air Force airfield at Nal was built and operationally ready. The civil air terminal as an enclave within the Airforce station was start on 29 June 2014, and on 26 September 2017 regular flight to Delhi was started by Air India.

Kishangarh Airport

Kishangarh Airport is 23 km far from city. The airport is expected to facilitate transport to the pilgrim sites like the Dargah of Khwaja Garib Nawaz, Pushkar and fort of Prithvi Raj Chauhan in the city of Ajmer. The 2700 square meter passenger terminal building can handle 150 in and out-bound passengers per hour. They features at the terminal include 6 check-in counters, one X-ray screening machine for baggage screening and an elevated baggage conveyor belt in the arrivals terminal. The airport has a 2,000 meter long runway that will allow daytime operation of smaller aircraft. The parking apron is able to simultaneously accommodate two ATR aircraft. The airport has parking space for 125 cars, and taxis, stores other stores available. Airport Authority of India has built a water harvesting system at the airport as also a modern sewage treatment plant for re-use of water
